  • Cincinnati Skyline at night with the city lights reflected on the waters of the Ohio River. This image is a composite of two images. The first image taken shortly after sunset exposing for the buildings and reflections on the water. The second image was taken approximately and hour and a half later from the exact same location using a two-and-one-half hour exposure for the sky and stars. These two images were then blended in the digital darkroom post capture. Polaris was positioned above the Great American tiara. The long exposure highlights the earth's rotation and its effect on the position of the stars in the night sky.
